Residential housekeeping
Weekly and biweekly care for primary homes: linens dressed to a hotel crease, kitchens left ready to cook, baths restored to quiet stone. The same specialist returns whenever we can arrange it.

Private-home care for Sable Harbor — residences, boutique offices, and short stays held to the same standard as a suite that photographs at eight in the morning.
The work
Eight practices — not a menu of “basic cleans.” Each visit is written against a home profile: products, pets, access, and the way you receive guests.
Residence
Weekly and biweekly care for primary homes: linens dressed to a hotel crease, kitchens left ready to cook, baths restored to quiet stone. The same specialist returns whenever we can arrange it.
From $189
The thorough reset — baseboards, interiors of appliances, grout, and the places a weekly visit politely leaves. Ideal before guests, after a season away, or when the house has simply been lived in.
From $349
Ateliers, showrooms, and small practices that receive clients. We work after hours when asked, leave glass unstreaked, and treat the front room as a first impression.
From $275
Listing-ready resets between guests: linen, restock notes, and photography-level staging. Same-day windows available for established hosts on the Harbor circuit.
From $165
Empty-house work for closings and keys-in-hand days. Cabinets, tracks, and the last film of construction dust — so the first night feels like arrival, not leftover occupancy.

A second, slower pass after the contractor’s broom. Fine dust on millwork, glass, and stone — the difference between “finished” and photographable.

Interior and reachable exterior glass for modern envelopes. We work by elevation, not by “a few panes,” and leave the view as the architect intended.
From $220
The working heart of the house: stone, brass, and the interiors that weekly care does not always open. For cooks, caterers, and anyone who entertains at the counter.

The method
Not an onboarding funnel. A short sequence we have used in private residences for a decade — conversation first, then a written profile, then the work, then the same team returning.
A walk or a precise call. We ask how the house is used — who cooks, who hosts, where the dog sleeps — and what “done” looks like at your threshold, not ours.
We write a home profile: chemistry preferences, key protocol, alarm notes, linens, and the rooms that matter on a Tuesday versus a Friday before guests.
The service day. Specialists arrive in muted uniforms, work a room in sequence, and leave a brief note — never a checklist left on the island like a hotel invoice.
Recurring households keep the same lead whenever possible. The house teaches us; we do not relearn it every fortnight.

The house, considered
Ashley Shaw spent ten years as director of private-home care for The Lumen Collection, a coastal hospitality group whose residences were photographed as often as their suites. The work was invisible on purpose: linen folded to a hotel crease, brass left warm rather than streaked, a room that could receive a guest at eight without anyone having announced the labor.
She founded Beauty Clean in Sable Harbor when she realized that standard belonged in houses that never check anyone in — family homes, ateliers, and the short stays that have to look like a magazine between Thursday and Friday. The company is still small enough that Ashley walks the first visit for every Estate account and most new residences.
We are bonded and insured. Teams are background-checked. Chemistry is green by default, and we will work from your own products when asked. Ten years of hospitality discipline; no neon polos; no script left on the counter.
“A kept house is not a sterile house. It is a house that can receive you without asking you to prepare.”
— Ashley Shaw

This is not a contract. It is an honest band based on how Sable Harbor houses typically price — so you can decide whether to reserve a consult.
From the house
Noted in Sable Harbor Review, Palisades Atelier, North Coast Living, and Harbor Sunday.
★★★★★
They reset the Palisades house after we returned from six weeks in France. The linen smelled like sun, the brass on the library ladder was warm again, and no one left a lemon-scented announcement that they had been there.
★★★★★
Post-construction on Harbor Hill. The contractor said it was done; Beauty Clean found the dust in every sash. We photographed the house two days later for the architect.
★★★★★
Fourteen turnovers last season in Seacliff. Guests mention the bed in reviews more than the view. Camila’s team treats a Thursday checkout like a hotel night audit.
★★★★★
Our fitting studio faces glass on two sides. They come after eight, leave the stone matte, and never move a pin cushion. Clients assume we have an in-house housekeeper.
★★★★★
I manage seven houses in Alder Valley. Beauty Clean is the only vendor I let hold keys. Reports are short, arrivals are on the minute, and Ashley still answers when an estate goes sideways.
Sable Harbor & the North Coast
Beauty Clean is based at 14 Atelier Court and works a coherent coastal metro: in-town residences, hillside glass houses, and the wine-country estates forty minutes inland. Same-week visits are typical; same-day is reserved for existing clients and Estate accounts.
14 Atelier Court, Suite 2Hours Monday–Saturday 7:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Sunday by arrangement. The desk answers until 6; after hours, Estate clients reach the on-call lead.
Before the first visit
A quiet, professional green line — plant-derived surfactants, no chlorine bleach as a default, no heavy perfume. If your household is already loyal to a brand, we will work from your cupboard and note it in the home profile.
Yes. We ask that animals who are uneasy with strangers be gated or walked during the visit. Hair on upholstery is part of residential care; we do not replace a groomer, and we will say so if a coat needs more than housekeeping.
Lockboxes, smart locks, garage pads, or a hand-off at the door. Keys are logged, never copied without written leave, and returned or stored in a labeled pouch at Atelier Court. Estate accounts may use a sealed envelope protocol.
Forty-eight hours for recurring Atelier visits; seventy-two for Residence and Estate. Weather and illness are treated as human. Repeated late cancels are rebooked at the one-time rate.
Never required. If you wish to, cash in an envelope for the team or a note to Ashley is enough. We do not add a gratuity line to invoices.
Yes — general liability and bonding appropriate to private residences and boutique commercial spaces. Certificates are sent with the first Estate agreement or on request.
Kitchen surfaces and sink, baths, floors in lived rooms, beds made or changed if linen is left, dusting to a standing reach, and glass that is part of daily life. Oven interiors, garage, and full window elevations are add-ons unless the package says otherwise.
Longer than the ones that follow. A first Atelier in a 2-bed often runs three to four hours; Residence restorations are a half or full day. We would rather stay than leave a room “for next time” without saying so.
That is the default. The eco-only checkbox in the estimator simply confirms we will not bring a conventional degreaser even for a neglected oven — we will schedule more time instead.
Estate and boutique-office accounts can hold a service window (for example, Tuesday after 7 p.m.) and a named backup specialist. We do not take warehouse or medical contracts.
Reserve
The desk replies within one business day. If you would rather speak, call or message — Ashley still reads first-time notes for residences she will walk herself.
